README excerpt

# Haze Council

A live map of Southeast Asia's smoke haze, briefed by four Claude Opus 5.5 agents.

Every haze season, smoke from peatland fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan drifts over Malaysia, Singapore and beyond. An air-quality number tells you how bad it is where you are. Haze Council shows where the smoke is, where the wind is taking it over the next 48 hours, and what that means for people.

Built at Claude Build Day (Opus 5.5) with Claude Code.

## What it does

- **Live haze map.** Hourly PM2.5 forecasts for 20 cities and a regional grid (CAMS model via Open-Meteo), drawn as a soft haze layer with city markers coloured by US EPA category.
- **Wind you can see.** Thousands of particles follow the 925 hPa forecast wind, so smoke transport is visible at a glance.
- **48-hour scrubber.** Drag or press play to watch the next two days. The bars show the worst city each hour.
- **The council.** Press **Run Council** and four agents read the map at the selected hour, streaming their answers live:
  - **Monitor**: where the air is worst now
  - **Transport**: where the wind carries smoke from the fire regions
  - **Forecaster**: how the next 24 hours unfold
  - **Advisor**: practical health advice for affected cities

A **Chairman** then reconciles all four into one verdict.
- **Symbiotes.** Each agent drops coloured influence on the places it names. When different agents point at the same place, their influence fuses into a living, glowing symbiote that drifts, feeds, splits
