README excerpt

FilingWatch is an autonomous financial intelligence platform that monitors SEC filings, detects accounting fraud signals, tracks geopolitical insider patterns, and delivers institutional-grade equity research — free, for anyone.

## The Problem

Bloomberg Terminal costs $24,000 per year. Institutional equity research takes analysts days. Most investors have no access to the forensic tools and cross-company intelligence that professional analysts use. The SEC's own investigations have shown that accounting fraud signals like those that preceded Enron and Lehman Brothers were visible in public filings years before collapse — but nobody was systematically reading them.

## What FilingWatch Does

A user enters a ticker. Within about ten minutes, a fleet of Claude Opus 4.7 agents pulls live SEC filings, runs quantitative analysis, scans news and management tone, benchmarks peers, cross-references congressional disclosures and DoD contracts, and writes a verified investment report with every claim cited to a specific filing. No human in the loop.

- **Quantitative Agent** — revenue, gross/operating/net margin deltas across a 12-quarter window from SEC EDGAR XBRL data, flags anything moving more than 10% and calls out multi-year trends.
- **Risk Intelligence Agent** — compares current vs prior 10-K MD&A and Item 1A to surface new risk factors, disappeared risks, language hardening, and litigation/regulatory flags with severity ratings.
- **News Agent** — classifies recent 8-K filing
