Agent Harness Builder is a visual tool for orchestrating multi-agent AI workflows. It solves the "this" problem: when people say "build this," frontier models handle the build, but defining and structuring the "this" is where things break down. Long-running tasks lose context. AI drifts. Inspired by Anthropic's research on long-running task harnesses, the goal is to bring structured AI orchestration to anyone with expertise, not just devs. You create projects with structured tasks and step-by-step checklists that keep agents anchored. Three AI abstractions layers: Skill Generation captures domain expertise, Process Team designs collaboration workflows, and Task Initialization breaks down projects. Then multi-agent orchestration executes it all with real-time tracking, cost monitoring, and AI-generated summaries Works across domains. You bring your expertise. The harness structures it. # 🏗️ Agent Harness Builder

**Design AI agent teams visually. Execute them with Claude Code.**

Agent Harness Builder is a local-first tool for creating, orchestrating, and running multi-agent workflows. You define your team (roles, goals, connections), and the system handles coordination, delegation, and execution through Claude Code.

No prompt engineering required. Just describe what each agent does, connect them, and run.

## ⚡ Quick Start

```bash
git clone https://github.com/sebasalmeidam/agent-harness-builder.git
cd agent-harness-builder
./setup.sh    # checks deps, installs, builds
pnpm start    # starts UI on :4173 and API on :4099
```

Open [http://localhost:4173](http://localhost:4173) in your browser.

## 📋 Prerequisites

Only **Node.js 22+** is required. The setup script auto-installs everything else:

**Optional:** An Anthropic API key (set in Settings) enables AI generation features like "Process Team" workflow generation.
