HealthForce

HealthForce is one Cortex Agent that serves the whole emergency team on a single patient: the paramedic in the ambulance, the ER doctor and the nurse preparing the bay, each on their own phone.

Core trick

Cortex Agent ranks candidate patient identities from partial descriptors, then merges records across care sites and parses spoken orders into structured task changes.

Description

HealthForce is one Cortex Agent that serves the whole emergency team on a single patient: the paramedic in the ambulance, the ER doctor and the nurse preparing the bay, each on their own phone. From a field report it narrows 1.42M patients to the most likely identity of an unconscious, unidentified person. It then pulls their history together from every care site that holds records and alerts the doctor before the ambulance arrives. When the ambulance monitor shows blood pressure falling, it raises the alarm without anyone asking. Short spoken orders become exact tasks. When the doctor says "pull off the gauze and hang blood," the nurse's list drops the gauze and adds 2 units of A‑positive packed red cells. It also shows where that blood type came from and orders a fresh type‑and‑screen to confirm it. Nobody had to say the blood group. It solves the ER's information gap: the patient arrives before their records do, and the team loses minutes to phone calls, portals and repeated questions.

**An unconscious patient arrives with no ID. HealthForce tells the ER team who they most likely are, and what in their records matters right now.**

A clinician describes what they can see: sex, rough age, height, a pill bottle, a hospital slip. A Claude-powered
Cortex Agent narrows 1.4 million patients to a handful, asks for one bedside check, names the most likely match,
and opens a chart pulled together from every care site that holds their records.

## The problem

A patient's history is scattered across hospitals, clinics and insurers. When they reach the ER unable to speak,
that history is effectively lost: the team doesn't know about the blood thinner, the allergy or the heart
condition until it's too late to matter. HealthForce unifies those records in Snowflake and puts an agent in front
of them that clinicians can talk to like a colleague.
