Description

A good teacher can change the course of someone’s life. A chatbot is not a teacher. Mystery School explores how teachers could build interactive learning sandboxes around what moves a student: music, boxing, or stories. Play a piano, explore movement through a camera-based boxing mirror, and enter a walkable story world where discoveries become writing and reflection. The teacher remains the human guide. AI helps create and adapt the experience. Our aim is to cultivate courage, passion, and imagination by making learning something students do, not just something they read.

# Mystery School

**A good teacher can change the course of someone’s life.**

Mystery School is a prototype sandbox for teachers to reach students through things they care about. A teacher might use boxing to open a question about physics, piano to explore patterns and change, or a book to help a student articulate an idea of their own.

A chatbot is not a teacher. The teacher is the human in the loop: they know the student, advocate for them, choose an experience, and interpret what happens. AI helps propose bounded changes; it does not replace that relationship. The goal is to help students who need another way in, more challenge, or more individual attention.

The current demo connects playable piano, movement, and a visual world. A complete teacher-facing lesson authoring workflow and student management system are not established by this prototype. Jai's teaching purpose is to cultivate courage, passion, and imagination. Students keep their own words and can disagree, pause, or try another way.
