README excerpt
# Consilium [](https://github.com/calvinm7/consilium/actions/workflows/ci.yml) Multi-agent clinical deliberation: independent AI advocates build competing care paths, debate them, and hand a physician a grounded, inspectable verdict. Consilium is an experimental workspace for treatment decisions where several reasonable paths compete. Independent agents build care paths, advocates make the strongest case for each option, a reviewer tests their tradeoffs, and a moderator summarizes the result for a physician to evaluate. > [!WARNING] > Consilium is research and demonstration software. It is not validated medical > advice or a clinical decision support system. Do not use it for patient care, > and do not enter protected health information. ## What it does - Streams a multi-stage treatment deliberation from case intake to verdict. - Builds three distinct care paths with inspectable decision trees. - Grounds agent work in live literature from Europe PMC, with PubMed fallback. - Verifies every cited identifier after the run: each one is resolved against Europe PMC and marked verified, mismatched, or unresolvable in the citation drawer and the exported report. - Shows advocate arguments, cross-path review, citations, and tradeoffs. - Lets a physician compare paths, challenge an agent, edit generated drafts, record a decision, and export a PDF report. - Supports deterministic canned and replay
