A voice-first clinical training simulator where you are the doctor and the AI is the patient.
Core trick
Live voice conversation with a Gemini Live patient persona, and an attending model grades the transcript against clinical guideline rubrics.
Description
A voice-first clinical training simulator where you are the doctor and the AI is the patient.
You sit across from a patient in a 3D clinic and talk — in English, Hindi, Kannada, French, Spanish, or German. You take the history out loud, order labs and imaging, read the results, commit to a diagnosis, and prescribe. The patient talks back in real time over the Gemini Live API, they interrupt you, hesitate, wince in pain, answer in their own language. When you're done, an attending grades the whole encounter against published clinical guidelines and tells you exactly where you were sharp and where you slipped.
Samvaad (संवाद) means "dialogue." That's the whole idea: medicine is a conversation before it is a decision, and Samvaad lets you practise that conversation a hundred times before you have it with a real, frightened human being.

# Samvaad · संवाद **A voice-first clinical training simulator where you are the doctor and the AI is the patient.** You sit across from a patient in a 3D clinic and *talk* — in English, Hindi, Kannada, French, Spanish, or German. You take the history out loud, order labs and imaging, read the results, commit to a diagnosis, and prescribe. The patient talks back in real time over the **Gemini Live API** — they interrupt you, hesitate, wince in pain, answer in their own language. When you're done, an attending grades the whole encounter against published clinical guidelines and tells you exactly where you were sharp and where you slipped. *Samvaad* (संवाद) means "dialogue." That's the whole idea: medicine is a conversation before it is a decision, and Samvaad lets you practise that conversation a hundred times before you have it with a real, frightened human being. > Built for the **Google DeepMind Bangalore Hackathon** — Problem Statement 1, *Real-Time Multimodal Interaction*. > Cases are clinically plausible but **synthetic**. Nothing here is medical advice, and the simulator makes no claim of clinical accuracy. --- ## The problem we're actually solving India does not have a doctor-*shortage* problem so much as a doctor-*readiness* and *distribution* problem — and both hit hardest in exactly the places a fresh MBBS graduate gets posted. **1. New doctors graduate under-practised, not under-taught.** India adopted a Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum p
