Team Kavach India
**Project Kavach** is a zero-UI autonomous safety system that uses AI to respond to emergencies with a single 3-tap trigger.
Core trick
A three-tap trigger launches parallel agents for police routing through browser automation and SMS/voice alerts, streamed to the phone over SSE.
Description
**Project Kavach** is a zero-UI autonomous safety system that uses AI to respond to emergencies with a single 3-tap trigger. It intelligently distinguishes between **personal threats** and **accidents**, adapting its behavior for concealment or rapid medical response. If connectivity is lost, **Gemma 4** continues emergency handling entirely on-device and automatically sends SOS updates when the network returns. Built for real-world conditions in India, Kavach combines cloud AI, on-device intelligence, and wearable support to protect users even when they cannot use their phone.
This can be integrated on google android at OS level.
README excerpt
# Project Kavach — Agentic Backend The "brain" behind the Kavach frontend. On a **Code Red** the **Orchestrator** (`Antigravity`) fans out sub-agents in parallel and streams their live progress to the phone UI over **Server-Sent Events**. - **Orchestrator** — classifies the Code Red, spawns agents, coordinates result. - **Action Agent** (`Computer Use`) — Gemini Computer Use + Playwright drives a real Chromium browser to route to the nearest police station. - **Comms Agent** (`Live Voice`) — real Twilio SMS + voice call to emergency contacts (auto-falls back to simulated if creds/contacts missing). - **Verification Agent** (`Omni`) — Gemini Flash ambient threat assessment. - **On-device brain** (`Gemma`) — local Gemma via LM Studio. When there is **no internet**, Kavach flips to **DARK SURVIVAL**: Gemma runs the threat assessment and drafts the SOS entirely on-device. Every agent degrades gracefully — the demo never hard-fails. ## Offline mode (DARK SURVIVAL — no internet) The cloud agents (Gemini Computer Use, Twilio) need the network. When the phone loses connectivity Kavach keeps working on-device: - **Gemma (`Omni`)** — real threat assessment from a local Gemma model. - **Action (`Computer Use`)** — nearest police station from a *cached offline map* (no browser), with a walking ETA. - **Comms (`Live Voice`)** — Gemma drafts the SOS on-device and the beacon is **queued to auto-transmit the instant signal returns** (nothing is lost). **How it triggers** —
