# AnimaOS : The Autonomous Agent _is_ the Operating System > A revolutionary Proof of Concept (PoC) for Hackathons built with **Nuxt 3 / Nitro, WebSockets, and Unstorage Persistence**, powered by the ultra-fast **Bun** runtime. ## The Problem: The Black Box of Chat Agents Today, the user experience with AI agents (such as _Co Work, Google Spark, OpenClaw, etc._) suffers from a major flaw: **a complete lack of observability**. To understand what the agent is doing, the user has to: - Read long, winding streams of text describing the agent's reasoning. - Go through dense text summaries. - Analyze complex console logs that are unreadable to non-developers. There is an enormous cognitive workload just to answer the simple question: _"What is my agent doing right now?"_ ## The AnimaOS Solution: Observability Built into the UI **AnimaOS** reverses this paradigm: **The Agent _is_ the Operating System**.
