Context-aware adversarial testing for Machine Learning and Ranking pipelines, built directly into the JetBrains IDE

The Problem
Debugging and testing standard web applications is straightforward, but testing Machine Learning algorithms—specifically computational advertising mechanisms like variant bidding, CTR rankers, and search heuristics—presents a massive engineering bottleneck.

To properly test this complex mathematical logic, data scientists must manually construct massive, highly skewed synthetic data arrays. They need to simulate missing categorical features, negative click-through rates, extreme floating-point anomalies, and bizarre auction bids to see if the math breaks. Because manual mock-data generation takes hours, it is often skipped or rushed. This results in brittle, untested code being pushed to production, where real-world data anomalies can cause catastrophic downstream pipeline failures.

What The Project Does (Project Description)
RankGuard is an AI-powered adversarial QA agent deeply integrated into the JetBrains IDE (PyCharm) ecosystem. It specifically targets Track Two: Testing & Debugging Code by shrinking the gap between "code complete" and "safely deployed" for enterprise data teams.

Instead of relying on generic autocomplete or forcing developers to context-switch to an external chat window, RankGuard operates natively via the IDE's editor context menu.
