SortedFelix
We’re building SortedFelix — a web/mobile app where regular people type “I need help with…” and get a personalised, short-form vertical AI video that walks them through the task step by step.
Core trick
Confirms the user's device from a photo before generating step-by-step output, choosing text, annotated image or video per step.
Description
We’re building SortedFelix — a web/mobile app where regular people type “I need help with…” and get a personalised, short-form vertical AI video that walks them through the task step by step. For example: “I need help changing the water filter on my Sage coffee machine.” From replacing consumables in appliances to setting up tech, the app turns any how-to into a clear, visual guide — built instantly, just for you. Think iFixit, but as AI-generated short-form video.
README excerpt
# SortedFelix
**The first AI that walks everyday users through physical tasks step by step** — confirming their exact device via photo before giving a single instruction, and adapting its output format (text, annotated image, or video) to the complexity of each step.
Built for the **Vercel x Google DeepMind "Zero to Agent" Hackathon** (Statement Two: Multimodal Agents).
Most people have no idea how to change the water filter in their coffee machine, unclog a sink, or replace a bike tyre. Manuals are unreadable. YouTube videos assume knowledge. SortedFelix assumes the user is capable and empowers them — one step at a time, with the right visual for each step, on their phone, while they're doing the task.
