Description

EquiLaw is an AI-powered legal agent that combats wage theft in South Korea by fully automating the complex labor complaint process for vulnerable workers. Powered by Gemini 1.5 Pro, it analyzes multi-modal evidence (chat screenshots, contracts, audio) to perform deep legal reasoning, calculate exact unpaid wages, and output structured JSON for government forms. Adhering to "Responsible AI" principles, it utilizes a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) architecture that requires final user approval before actuating the legally binding submission via an Email/Fax API.

## About the Project

**EquiLaw** is an innovative solution designed to help workers who have experienced unfair treatment (e.g., unpaid wages, unfair dismissal, workplace harassment) navigate complex legal procedures easily and swiftly using AI.

When a user uploads various forms of evidence, such as screenshots of KakaoTalk conversations, images of employment contracts, or voice recordings, EquiLaw leverages the **powerful multimodal analysis capabilities of the Google Gemini API** to identify violated labor laws and calculate unpaid wages. Furthermore, based on the analyzed data, it automatically generates a formal complaint tailored to the Ministry of Employment and Labor's format, and facilitates direct faxing to the competent jurisdiction or one-click simulation filing on the Labor Portal.

### Background
Ordinary workers lacking legal knowledge often spend immense amounts of time and money on extensive paperwork, searching for relevant laws, and organizing evidence just to claim their rights. EquiLaw
