**GameTok* is a TikTok-style infinite feed of AI-generated mini-games. Swipe through unique browser games created on the fly by Gemini 3 Flash, each with its own AI-generated background music from Google Lyria 2. The backend is built with FastHTML and SQLite (via fastlite), serving a neobrutalism-themed UI styled with Tailwind CSS and Lucide icons. Each game is a self-contained HTML5 Canvas or Three.js experience rendered in a full-viewport iframe. Users navigate between games with prev/next buttons, like or dislike games, bookmark favorites, and view AI-generated how-to-play instructions.

# GameTok 🎮

A TikTok-style infinite feed of AI-generated mini-games. Swipe through unique browser games created on the fly by Gemini 3 Flash, each with its own AI-generated background music from Google Lyria 2.

## How It Works

1. **Gemini 3 Flash Preview** generates complete, playable HTML5 Canvas and Three.js games from a rich prompt system with 8 gameplay archetypes and 6 color themes
2. **Lyria 2** (via Replicate) generates background music tailored to each game's theme — Gemini writes the music prompt based on game metadata
3. A **background buffer** pre-generates 5 games ahead so there's always something new to play
4. Users navigate with prev/next buttons, vote 👍/👎, and view AI-generated how-to-play instructions

## Setup

```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

Set your API keys:

```bash
export GEMINI_API_KEY=your_key_here
export REPLICATE_API_TOKEN=your_token_here
```

Run:

```bash
python main.py
```

The app starts at `http://localhost:5001`. Games are generated automatically into `data/games/`.
