Travel dreamer
Description:
Imagine dropping a pin on Google Maps and instantly seeing a video of yourself walking around that spot.
Travel planning can be exhausting. Mapping out attractions on Maps still makes it hard to feel what being there is like. Travel Dreamer solves this by generating realistic videos of you or your group in any Street View location.
Upload a picture of yourself, pin a spot on Google Maps, and the app uses Nano Banana to merge you with the scene into a single image, then Veo 3 turns it into a high-res video.
As compute gets faster, users could select start and end points to see a continuous video of themselves walking through entire routes. In the future, Travel Dreamer could even integrate Google Photos with Maps, letting users view dreams beside memories.

See a [demo video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn8m-_PUN_s)! Imagine dropping a pin on google maps and instantly seeing a video of yourself walking around in that area. Travel planning is complicated and exhausting. This hurdle of planning also takes away the enthusiasm of wanting to visit a place. When a user tries to map out the best order of tourist spots to visit on Google Maps, they still have a hard time committing to the plan because it's hard to visualize what it would feel like. Travel Dreamer helps you to imagine what you or your group may look like in any location on google maps (where street view is available), through a generated video. All you need to do is provide a picture of you or your group and pin a location on Google Maps. The app would first generate a rough image using Nano Banana, merging the location and the people into a single image, which would then be used by Veo 3 to generate a high res video. In the near future, when compute gets faster, we would be able to select start and end points in Maps and see a whole video of us walking through the whole path. I also see a future for integrating Google Photos with Maps to see "dreams" alongside "memories". You need - 1. a google cloud project 2. billing enabled for the project 3. apis enabled for the project: maps for js api, streetview static api 4. api key to use in the project 5. then run/deploy your AI studio app and test it all out! <div align="center"> <img width="400" height="130" al
